Chants de Noël - Noël populaire à Saint-Trophime - Arles
In December, Provence is enchanted by the sound of the popular Christmas carols at Saint-Trophime, on December 13.
Every winter, Provence is decked out in light and music with the magical Carols de Noël tour. 34 communes host 59 free concerts to celebrate the Advent season.
Churches, theaters and village halls become the setting for a musical heritage of a thousand accents: Each concert is an invitation to discover the traditions and emotions of Provençal Christmas. This itinerant festival embodies the spirit of fraternity and beauty that animates the festive season in Provence. The Département des Bouches-du-Rhône does its utmost to develop its cultural offering and make it accessible to all Provençal residents. That's why the Chants de Noël are free of charge and organized throughout the region.
