In December, Provence is enchanted by the sound of Christmas carols - Sunday 21 December at Fontvieille Church
Every winter, Provence is adorned with light and music with the magical Christmas Carols tour. 34 municipalities host 59 free concerts to celebrate the Advent season.
Churches, theatres and village halls become the setting for a musical heritage with a thousand accents: each concert is an invitation to discover the traditions and emotions of Christmas in Provence. This travelling festival embodies the spirit of fraternity and beauty that animates the festive season in Provence. The Bouches-du-Rhône Department is doing everything possible to develop cultural offerings and make them accessible to all Provençals. That is why the Christmas Carols are free and organised throughout the region.
At the Church of Fontvieille, the Christmas Carols invite you... on the theme of “Armenian Christmas”.
