The town of Gardanne, with its precious vernacular heritage, is home to many treasures. Digging deep into its paradoxes, it is developing industrial tourism in the heart of its lands, 45% of which are natural areas. Throughout the year and during our events, discover the companies that have helped build the image of our city, contribute to its influence, and look forward to sharing an experiential moment with you.
Keen to promote its industrial activity, justified by the presence of the Alteo Alumina plant, Europe’s leading alumina producer, the thermal power plant supplying energy to the whole of the Aix-en-Provence region, the Malespine quarry and the Charpak microelectronics center, the Gardanne Tourist Office is committed to promoting this new type of tourism, which attracts more and more visitors every year.
