Cézanne Open-air museum
Gardanne, the only village painted by Cézanne
On the top of the Colline des Frères, an open-air area had been especially set up to enable you to admire the different sights and Cézanne’s paintings, so you can put yourself in the artist’s shoes and better understand how the inspiration came to him.
The tourist board of Gardanne proposes you to discover the painter’s work during a guided tour.
Cézanne’s paintings are reproductions on large-scale oil paintings (2,50m x 1,80m)
