Fiesta des Suds
Fiesta des Suds, in the grand tradition of festivities, brings together different audiences, genres and generations.
From October 8 to 11, the Fiesta des Suds sets the tone and lays its cards on the table for its lively celebration of warm autumn nights: featuring major acts, star-studded surprises, and crowd favorites, the 35th edition of this Marseille event showcases red-hot new talents, iconic voices, energetic collectives, and legendary artists on the ever-magical J4 esplanade.
This year, the Fiesta weaves connections—between its shores and its music, between its artists and its audiences, between our heartbeats, our bass-driven roars, and our joy. Three nights, each a message to experience, feel, and share.
Open letters written in the glow of the stages, addressed to the nights of Marseille.
Since 1992, the Fiesta des Suds, in a grand festive tradition, has brought together audiences, genres, and generations like nowhere else. Alternating between explosive headliners and musical discoveries, feverish strolls through the streets, and the exhilarating atmosphere of southern cities in celebration, the Fiesta des Suds has established itself, for over a quarter of a century, as an unmissable event in Marseille and throughout the region, with national renown.
By immersing global arts and music in an atmosphere that evokes at once a carnival, a feria, a neighborhood festival, an Eastern “nouba,” and even a global festival, this extraordinary event has forged a cherished gathering that brings together people, genres, and generations. A true melting pot of humanity...

At 5 p.m., a roundtable discussion in the Mucem auditorium (free admission with online reservation).
Inspiring artists and women of courage, they serve as privileged witnesses to several generations of free-spirited individuals who are contributing to women’s empowerment and pushing the boundaries of today’s societies. Through their energy, poetry, and commitment, they embody a vision of acceptance of differences, exile as a legacy, shared struggles, and plural identities that are endlessly woven together and nourished. The third inspiring event of the Fiesta des Suds features voices that resonate far beyond the stage, telling the story of today’s world—from shadow to light. A meeting of generations, like an ode to women who stand tall.
