Journées européennes du patrimoine

In 2024, the European Heritage Days celebrate the Heritage of routes, networks and connections as well as the Maritime Heritage.

The City of Martigues therefore offers a (re)discovery of its history and heritage, through visits, workshops, shows, offered throughout the territory, in compliance with health recommendations.

Thursday, September 19
- At 8 p.m.: Concert by the Campana ensemble at the Chapelle de l'Annonciade.

Friday, September 20
- From 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.: Explore the backstage of the Martigues Dry Port.
- From 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.: Shared meal / concert at the Miroir aux Oiseaux
- At 9 p.m.: Screening of the film "Fellini Roma" by Federico Fellini, presented by Emmanuelle Ferrari at Place Mirabeau.

Saturday, September 21
- At 10 a.m.: Guided tour of the graffiti gallery of the Chapelle de l'Annonciade.
- At 10 a.m.: Guided tour of the municipal archives of Martigues at the Town Hall.
- At 11 a.m.: Escape game at the Théâtre des Salins
- At 1:30 p.m.: Guided tour of the Caronte channel and Fort-de-Bouc
- At 2 p.m.: Guided tour of the graffiti gallery of the Chapelle de l'Annonciade
- At 2 p.m.: Guided tour of the exhibition "Martigues 1939-1945, from the occupation to the happy days of the Liberation" and treasure hunt at the Galerie de l'Histoire.
- From 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.: Workshops at the Galerie de l'Histoire "My boat on the waves" and "Draw your maritime itinerary".
- From 2pm to 4pm: Kayak trip on the canals of Martigues.
- From 2pm to 6pm: Art and Flowers Workshop at the Ziem Museum.
- At 2:30pm: Guided tour of the Théâtre des Salins.
- At 3pm: Guided tour with 2 voices of the exhibition "Vivant! Fauna and Flora" at the Ziem Museum.
- At 4pm: Guided tour of the History Gallery.
- At 4pm: Guided tour of the graffiti gallery at the Chapelle de l'Annonciade.

- At 11:30 a.m.: Guided tour of the Théâtre des Salins.
- At 1:30 p.m.: Guided tour of the Caronte channel and Fort-de-Bouc.
- From 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.: Discovery of the land registry and "The art of the letter" workshop at the Ziem Museum.
- From 2pm to 4pm: Games, fun activity "Make your Crown" on the Place des traceurs de pierres in La Couronne.
- From 2pm to 4pm: Workshops at the Galerie de l'Histoire: "My boat on the waves" and "Draw your maritime itinerary".
