Between tradition
Gardanne is a paradox unto itself. The fourth-largest town in the Pays d’Aix region, with almost 22,000 inhabitants, it has all the characteristics of a village (a spirit of proximity, solidarity…).
Its traditional shops, its market, its traditional festivals, its history going back two thousand years… That’s Gardanne! The town is also known as THE village painted by Paul Cezanne.
