Visite du chantier d'ITER
ITER welcomes visitors all year round. The format of the tours depends on the visitor's profile, and the content of the presentations is adapted to each audience.
For the general public, tours include:
- A stop at the lookout point in the visitor's building (with a panoramic view of the platform)
- A presentation of the models (Tokamak and platform)
- An in-room presentation on the ITER project
- A guided tour of the construction site by bus (depending on access conditions to the platform at the time of the visit).
Tours last about an hour and can be conducted in English or French.
Children not admitted.
Identity card/passport required.
Attire complying with safety standards obligatory.
- Individuals and groups (<7pers.):
You must join a group tour scheduled by the Gréoux-les-Bains Tourist Office (transport supplement: 6EUR per person).
Access to the ITER site and guidance are free of charge.
- Groups (>7pers.):
You must reserve a bus/minibus for the site visit. Access to the ITER site and guidance are free.
- Open house :
2 times a year, ITER organizes an open house, with registration, free access to the site, the fun zone and a guided tour.
