Guided tour of the village of Fuveau
Visiting Fuveau with Jérôme, a tour guide at "Secrets d'ici", is a bit like dropping anchor in an eagle's nest floating on an ocean of scrubland. On the horizon, the Sainte-Victoire Island splits the waves of the azure sky.
It is about giving space to “quote, unquote” and to “once upon a time,” “there was a time”… Taking one's time. Looking around. Searching. Catching sight of a multitude of small details and uncovering a thousand mischievous anecdotes in one's net. Meter by meter, story by story, one slowly gains altitude to open some truly beautiful pages of imagination and memory heritage. The wonderful pauses will follow one another like a live show until Fernandel’s soul emerges from a secret passage not far from a small chapel with hidden treasures. We slip through, with a velvet step, effortlessly, into the little streets with fascinating colors. From the Porte de Bassac to Rue Nationale (as small as a mouse hole), passing by the imposing Saint-Michel Church, with the appearance of a basilica, you will fully grasp the meaning of the word stroll.
Fuveau is mischief in the land of wonders, riddles that smell of rosemary, and little stories, sown like sunflower seeds…
